She became involved with the porn industry after working in sex clubs throughout Eastern Europe; along with other Czech performers such as Monica Sweetheart, the late Lea de Mae, and most famously Silvia Saint, Rush was part of the first wave of Eastern European porn stars to make a significant impact on the American adult film market.

According to interviews appearing in the adult industry press, Rush was pursuing a degree in medicine. In June 2002, Rush was accidentally struck by a car. Subsequent to her retirement, Daniella was honoured with a special award at a recent Show in Prague, also attended by Silvia Saint.
